Is 16GB enough RAM?

I'm currently running a 9TB RAID0 system with 16gb of ram and I run a Plex Media Server and I'm sharing my ripped bluray library with friends. I'm averaging 13.4GB of wired RAM and I was wondering if I would benefit from upgrading to 32gb of ram?

Ignore your RAM usage, it should always be around 100%. 16GB is fine as long as your performance is what you need it to be. If you are just running plex you will not notice a performance drop from memory usage.

Now your RAID0 is a totally different story, good luck with your unsupported raid config and future dataloss.

Thanks for the info guys! LOL...I love backups. I have full back up of all my files on a DS212j...I just wanted to make the most of the drives I have now.
