I am having an issue getting my Intel 10GbE cards to work. They are the Intel 82599ES chipset version. When I run a "pciconf -lv" I get the following:
none2@pci0:2:0:0: class=0x020000 card=0x00038086 chip=0x10fb8086 rev=0x01 hdr=0x00
vendor = 'Intel Corporation'
class = network
subclass = ethernet
none3@pci0:2:0:1: class=0x020000 card=0x00038086 chip=0x10fb8086 rev=0x01 hdr=0x00
vendor = 'Intel Corporation'
class = network
subclass = ethernet
I am running 8.3 and I was under the impression that it would run these cards.
[root@freenas] ~# uname -a
FreeBSD freenas.local 8.3-RELEASE-p5 FreeBSD 8.3-RELEASE-p5 #1 r244156M: Wed Dec 12 09:38:43 PST 2012 root@build.ixsystems.com:/home/jpaetzel/8.3.0/os-base/i386/usr/home/jpaetzel/8.3.0/FreeBSD/src/sys/FREENAS.i386 i386
Can anyone help me?
Thanks,
