Hi,

I've installed an Intel® SSD DC P4608 6.4T, which consists of a dual x4 NVMe controller (and 2 x 3.2T disks) in one PCIe card. The thing is, only one disk is being recognized in TrueNAS UI and since I'm not an advanced user when it comes to FreeBSD, I'm not sure if this is a driver issue or something else.
What I am trying to accomplish is to set both disks to work as a mirror, so any prior experiences configuring this kind of disks will be appreciated!

I'm using TrueNAS Core 12.0-U6 and this is not a production environment.

I tried to create a new gpt partiton table on nvme0, I tried to create a new partiton on nvme0ns1 with no luck.

This is how it looks on TrueNAS UI

Any ideas?

Probably - I'm guessing - the PCIe slot you are using for the card needs to support what is called "bifurcation" to address several separate devices in a single slot. Check the card's and your mainboard's documentation for details. This is usually configured in the BIOS setup.

You want 4x4 bifurcation in a PCIe x8 slot and 4x4x4x4 in a PCIe x16 slot. Again, guessing ...
