Installing Motherboard Drivers

I am a complete novice to dealing with servers, so please forgive my naiveté.

I have a nice used 1U Intel S5000PSL server. I just installed FreeNAS 8.3 beta 2 on a USB flash drive and I can log into the interface from another computer on the network.

My question is, the fans in this server are LOUD. Is there software drivers I need to install for the MB. I have gone to the Intel website and they seem to have some drivers for SUSE and RedHat Lunix. Not sure if that applies here.

Any suggestions?

No - any drivers would need to be included with FreeNAS.

Hmmm, You can install drivers into freenas as long as you have a compiled freebsd driver or if you can compile the driver.
