Installing FreeNAS Over Current OS

I have a Thecus N4520 and for some reason I can't get access to their message board and the interface isn't too useful when stuff screws up. If I install FreeNAS over it, will it wipe all my data (destroy my RAID set)? I have 4 3TB drives in RAID 5.

Hi brando56894,

To be blunt, no. You can't rally install FreeNAS on it because the amount of installed RAM (2GB) is way to low for FreeNAS. Even if you could get FreeNAS installed it wouldn't see the RAID volume.
