Installing Freenas on an EC2

Hello,

I have read some posts about it, but they seem to be a bit old.

We just want to install freenas on an EC2 instance, but I am not sure if I should use the AMIs that are already on AWS because they all says they are Beta, so not sure if it is stable or a good option to do this?

I don't think it will be for production environment, just to check how that works. We have freeenas installed in bare metal just now, and we are thinking on moving it to the cloud, but it is just an idea.

Any advice?

Instead of migrating TrueNAS to the EC2, why do not you use managed services like AWS EFS or even FSx for OpenZFS?
