You missed, (or did not mention), the part about 2 x 3.5" IDE, (meaning PATA),
disks! Plus, only 10/100Mbps Ethernet.

Yes, I agree with the others, the QNAP forums would be the first place to start.
And with those specifications, that NAS may not even run Linux well, (and not
FreeNAS at all). Sorry.

I started with Qnap a while ago. It has been sitting in the corner for the past 3 years...thinking of scrapping it.
