Initial boot up problems....please help if able

I made the ISO disc for initial boot up. System was running the process fine until it hung up on (Fatal Trap 30). The last thing it states is ( Stopped at: acpi_cpu_c1+0x6)

Can anyone please tell me if they have had the same or similar problem? I'm hoping it isn't my CPU that's failing the load process but it's not looking good...

Why do you suspect your CPU? Have you had problems with it before?
