I am currently on 9.1.1

I've been searching high and low importing one of my HDD that is formatted using ext2. I have read that it will only mount/import ext2 volumes that has a Inode size of 128.

So here is my drive status

Inode count: 183074816
Inodes per group: 16384
Inode blocks per group: 512
Inode size: 128

Disk /dev/sdb1: 1500GB
Sector size (logical/physical): 512B/512B
Partition Table: loop

Number Start End Size File system Flags
1 0.00B 1500GB 1500GB ext2

So if someone can get me in the right directions on getting this drive mounted in my FreeNAS box, that'll be great!

TIA

Have you tried using 9.2.0? There were some changes to the ext2fs code which I don't think made it into 9.1.1.

What happens when you try to import the disk as UFS?

It gives me the same exact message as it did with ext2. I can't remember the message though... I have since put the drive back in to my Linux box... Since I need data from it

Ok this is a screen shot from 9.2.0-RC2

So I am not sure what's going on...

I get the same EXACT message from using UFS as well

For some reason /dev/ada1 doesn't show any partition...would that be the cause of it? If so, how can I fix that? Cause the drive & data are accessible in the Linux(Ubuntu) box (ext2)
[root@freenas ~]# ls -al /dev/ada*
crw-r----- 1 root operator 0x52 Dec 22 12:25 /dev/ada0
crw-r----- 1 root operator 0x54 Dec 22 12:25 /dev/ada0p1
crw-r----- 1 root operator 0x7a Dec 22 12:25 /dev/ada0p1.eli
crw-r----- 1 root operator 0x56 Dec 22 12:25 /dev/ada0p2
crw-r----- 1 root operator 0x58 Dec 22 12:25 /dev/ada1
[root@freenas ~]# gpart show /dev/ada1
gpart: No such geom: /dev/ada1.

for some reason it doesn't show a partition for ada1? Would that be the cause, if so how to fix that?

Couldn't find 9.2 release.... I will try looking for it again. Rc2 was the only one that showed up in Google search
