Hello all,
I've imported on a new Truenas Installation V12.0U8 an existing pool.
After that I've created a new user and added a new SMB Share in order to access all falders in the previous dataset present in the pool.
In the Samba Share option, I can see all folders in the data set, has you can see on attached image 1

SMB Share Screen 1.JPG

But after I've selects /mnt/freenas7FreeNASMediaPlayer/Media as the path for the SMB Share, in the wondows explorer windows I accot see all folders (see attache image 2)
windows explorer folders.JPG

Where is the mistake?
how can I modify the existing ACL Setting on the folders of the imported pool?

Thanks for support
Gianni

Hi, finally I found the solution. When creating the new SMB Share, I've selectd "Apply permissions recursively" in the new ACL settings.
This action probably overwritten all previous ACL's Data

Yes, that action will replace ACL on subdirectories and files with the one you specified.
