Hi,

My freenas rig was running fine just up until yesterday at my office

I turned it off after 5days of running streak and came back to office today, saw everything boot up as expected except when I got to console setup I got two IP addresses

The m/b is not equipped w/ two ethernet ports and I'm really clueless to know what I've done wrong

.....prior to my shutting off the freenas, I've installed Plexmediaserver plugin, delteted it, and installed miniDLNA inplace of it but does it really have connection here?

tried rebooting the FreeNAS but the address still shows up

is there any priors or tips?

many thanks in advance

Every jail that doesn't have a VIMAGE jail is available to FreeNAS. So more than 1 IP should be expected as well as normal if you are using miniDLNA in a jail.

Thank you for your answer cyberjock,

so, you're basically telling me that it's completely normal and should not bother me, yes?

well, I'm using another FreeNAS rig at home with just about the same setup (transmission, minidlna, etc) but that rig has not shown me two IP addresses ever since the initial setup with more reboots and delete/reinstall of plugins than this rig in question.

anyways...if you're saying that this is not that big a deal, then, OK, I'll just move on as if nothing major happened I guess:)
