Identify LSI controller and can it be flashed to it Mode?

I have 2 of these but cant figure out if they are an LSI 9220 or 9240 due to labeling can someone help me and or can they point me in the direction of flashing them to it mode if possible because Freenas doesnt see the drives.

Honestly, I'd call up LSI and give them the serial numbers and ask what they are and where to get the drivers. You could also ask if there is an IT flash for them, as well as see the latest firmware on their website.

I tried crossflashing it using these instructions below and got the following error:

ERROR: Firmware image does not support the Target Adapter Device ID (0x72) Firmware image supported Family of ID's 0x80

USED:

megarec -writesbr 0 sbrempty.bin
megarec -cleanflash 0
<reboot, back to USB stick >
sas2flsh -o -f 2118it.bin -b mptsas2.rom (sas2flsh -o -f 2118it.bin if OptionROM is not needed)
sas2flsh -o -sasadd 500605b********* (x= numbers for SAS address)
<reboot>
Done!
