IBM M1015-IT, ESXi 6 with passthrough - He's not recognized

Hi all,

I was slowly upgrading my server Lenovo ThinkServer TS140 and added maximum for memory (32GB).
I've flashed IBM M1015 in IT mode and connected 2x3TB WD Red HDs. In ESXi I enabled passthrough. Installed latest version of FreeNAS but no where in the web interface do I see those HDs.
I was hoping someone did similar setup with VMs and can give me some pointers.

No, I have not.
Not sure which step I'm missing.

Have you rebooted ESXi since you enabled the passthrough?

I've followed the instructions at https://b3n.org/freenas-9-3-on-vmware-esxi-6-0-guide/ and got it working right away.

I think that you have to also ensure "VT-d" is enabled in the BIOS. Been a while since I looked and this is just going off of memory (perhaps bad memory.. ) ;)

Thanks for the replies guys. I defiantly rebooted and that did not help at all. I'm pretty sure "VT-d" is enabled but I will double check and follow suggested guide and post back if I find what the issue was.
