hello.

I have 5 drives (3TB) in my RaidZ2 and 2 have bad sectors - I am going to replace them.

what is the quickest way to replace them? one at a time or both at once?

my thinking was if I replaced one at a time that it may take many hours longer than it should as one of the other drives has bad sectors.

can I replace both at the same time? is this advisable?

my thinking was if I take both out and I have another problem I will loose the data right?

so I probably answered my own question - one at a time (removing the drive with the most bad sectors first) it may take 2 or 3 days to resilver but it should be the safest way.

does anybody have any advice for dealing with 2 bad drives

thank you

Replace one drive at a time. It takes time to rebuild the drive. Once you have it rebuilt then the second drive can be replaced. Follow the users guide or your data is in jeopardy.
