Are you sure the cpu & memory you installed is good & compatible? Maybe ipmi gives you more info.

i eventually found this - https://www.supermicro.com/support/faqs/faq.cfm?faq=14998

Question
I have a X9SCL supermicro motherboard and when I boot up the system, it gives 4 beeps but no video. What does this mean? I do not see this in the manual.
Answer
The 4 beeps and no video means the BIOS is not updated to support the CPU. You will need to find a Sandy Bridge CPU to use to flash the BIOS on the motherboard first, before you can use the new Ivy Bridge CPU on it.

I will buy a Sandy Bridge CPU on ebay and hopefully it will boot then i can flash the bios - https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pentium-G6...sh=item5b557b40cb:g:hSgAAOSwfO1csM4A&LH_BIN=1

It is $4 and free postage

I ran into exactly the same problem when I built an X9SCL board several years ago. This is actually documented on the Supermicro site, but few people see it because "they are not looking for this kind of problem." Once you get the bios sorted out, you will have a fine system.

Good luck.
