I am trying to setup Freenas on my Hyperv host. The issue i am having is the network interface doesnt seem to be working. I've set my ipv4 to static (10.10.1.20/24) and I've configured my DNS. Whenever I try browsing to the ip address in my browser I get an error 500 Internal Server message.

500 - Internal server error.

The screen shot conflicts with your statement that your FreeNAS IP address is setup.

Using legacy device in hyper v settings?

Hyper v isn't exactly very popular for freenas, and I do hope this is only for testing and not for production....

But basically just because you force an IP doesn't mean the underlying stack is supported. Does the IP ping?
