This makes no sense. If you are only running this server change this block in the virtualhost section
<VirtualHost [site.com]:80>

to

<VirtualHost *:80>

Do it for the 443 ssl one too.

Also what is your ServerRoot in httpd.conf mine is:

ServerRoot "/usr/local"

Below that what is your listen ip and port? Is it your jails IP and port number uncommented? Mine is:

Listen 192.168.1.113:80
Listen 80

Doing that cleared up the HSTS error. I just realized something that may invalidate half this thread. This is my personal server. At home.

On my home internet connection.

At which the ISP blocks port 80.

So this probably started working about 10 posts ago, but I couldn't see it because my ISP blocks that port.

LOL... F me in the goat A.. So your option is to run on a different port for standard connections.. Forward a port of your choosing from WAN to LAN port 80, then when you type it or link it, it has to be www.domain.com:8080. Which should hit port 80 and redirect to https.

Or just forget about using port 80. You want to use https whenever you can anyways..

That would definitely explain my frustration.. Damn you @keboose

Good luck pal, I gotta go back to work now.
