How to update the date and time on jail?

Guys,

I have a problem with my freenas, my clock on the freenas is GMT-3, but in my jail the clock is very diferent of my freenas, is like 4 hour to diference in the past, so now is 02h02 AM of day 07 on my FreeNas and my jail show to me 10h02 PM of day 06 can anyone help me?
I try the command "date 1404070202.45" but don't work the jail say: "date: settimeofday (timeval): Operation not permitted"

Please if anyone can help I will be very thanks!

Were you the root/superuser when you ran that command?

Also, as root, you could run tzsetup if the time zone is incorrect. You could also configure NTP in the jail using these instructions: http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/network-ntp.html.
