How to Syncing Nextcloud Data to TrueNas Storage?

Hello all,
do any of you have experience with the CommandlineClient from nextcloud on TrueNas Scale?

I have a Nextcloud server running on an external VPS on the internet. I would like to synchronise the nextcloud user data to the storage of my local TruneNas. The goal is to then back up the nextcloud-data from the TrueNas via snapshots.

My idea is to do this via the command line client of nextcloud. Have any of you done this before? Does it make sense? Or are there better solutions?
