Hi

I've looked far & wide but I can't find set of instructions on how to replace a failed disk on a RaidZ for 8.2 BETA 2.

Does this still apply? http://forums.freenas.org/showthrea...eta-4&highlight=replace+HDD+raidz1+8.0.1+Beta

In that same thread protosd says it's not longer necessary, but I can't find the steps?

I've simply replaced the faulty drive, but now the data store on the RaidZ is completely dead - "Error getting available space". No tanks available.

Any help appreciated.

Thank you. I don't think I'm running the same version as indicated by the document's screenshots. I Don't have a "Volume Status" option, for example, where a disk can be set to offline. I'm running 8.2.0-BETA2-x86 (r10638).

I've attached my screenshot. I'll PM you my login details, if you have a minute, to look and see.

Thank you so much.

I've PM'd you the access details. I forgot that ada3 is the offending disk. It runs fine for a little while, then starts to make ping noises and FreeNAS removes the device according to the console.
