I plan to create a NAS from my old computer as a home NAS. Now, I have never used a freenas before, but I installed it, did setup on the HDD, and everything works fine, sharing etc.., but the thing is that I want to install plugins that will not wake up my drives (drives will probably be used for one or two hours a day, so my thinking is not to wake them up unnecessarily).
So I planned to installed them on the SSD where I installed the TrueNAS (because using only 1.1G for only installation seems overkill for using an SSD).
Searching the docs and google did not result in any information. I cannot downsize the installed drive to maybe make a partition. Is having an plugin pool on the same drive even possible? What would be the next possible solution?
