Hi Folks,
I'm battling a persistent kernel panic issue with TrueNAS 12 and the FreeBSD developers have asked me to provide full crash-dumps (i.e. the complete in-memory kernel state) which is known as a 'mini-dump' in FreeBSD terminology (see here). I have enabled the 'Debug Kernel' option in the Advanced settings in TrueNAS, expecting that this would also enable full crash dumps, but upon checking it after a crash today, the /data/crash directory still only has text-dumps.
How is it possible to get complete memory-dumps from TrueNAS? The FreeBSD developers cannot help me without this.
Thanks.
