Hi
I am running FreeNAS-8.3.2 on what was a Scaleo home server box. The system boots fine (I did the magic to get it to boot from the internal Flash drive) and runs for ages as a rule. Eventually however, it will just stop responding. The only solution is a hard reset; after which it goes happily for days or even weeks at a time.
There's no apparent correlation with any external events. The computer is on a UPS and there's nothing in the UPS logs. I set Freenas to use an external syslog but there's nothing in there either.
Can anybody suggest how I might get to the bottom of this?
