Hi,
I'm new using Truenas

i started testing Core for a few days, but for several reason i was forced to switch to Scale... In Core, y had the TRANSMISSION plugin, and remember that i had to search in internet to find a special "maneuver" to make that the Transmission plugin Downloads aim to a custom folder (a dataset selected by me)..
I remember that i had to use "mount points" option, but it in Scale doesn't exists..

Someone knows how to make that the downloads of Transmission Application gets automatically stored in a folder (dataset) selected by me??

It's in the app setup, where else? You were given those options, among many others, when you installed the app. If you didn't set it up then, you can also edit the app to configure them there.

I've tried that easy way, with the integrated options when installing the app, but looks like isn't that simple... doing in that way the torrent downloads keeps telling me "Error 13 permission denied"...

When uninstallin and installing again leaving the default settings, the downloads works fine...... but if i leave it as it comes, then where the hekk find my downloaded files?? xD

I'm reading that Host Path can't be done now... A option named "Enable host path safety checks" has been disabled in Truenas..

Now what sense does it have to install a torrent downloads app if you can't see your downloads folder?' xD

Someone here with the knowledge about the Transmission App for Truenas Scale that may bring some help??

No, you aren't. You're clearly misunderstanding whatever you are reading.
A option named "Enable host path safety checks" has been disabled in Truenas..
Those checks, if enabled, would prevent using a shared directory as a host path. The option, along with those checks, has been removed.

I've discovered where were the issue. No Host Path, No Mounting Points.

The solution: Edit the dataset that you selected for Transmission incomplete/complete downloads, and set permission to an User called "apps"... xD
