Currently I have configured 4 direct connections (4 portals) to expose a pool to my ESXI 6 from my TN box. Each connection is 1Gb and has been stable.
I am planning to upgrade my hardware so connections between the ESXI and TN could be 10Gb (or more).
What is best practice / thinking here -- are more connections better? Should I stay with 4 (at higher connection speeds) or could I drop to fewer?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
