How long does it normally take for updated packages to show up

Probably not the best worded question, but I have a jail set-up for testing plexpass and I noticed an update on Freshports (https://www.freshports.org/multimedia/plexmediaserver-plexpass/) but when I try and update in the jail it's telling me everything is up to date (but it's still running 0.9.16.6)

It was only updated ~24 hours ago, so just wondered how long it normally took to update? My jail configuration is using http://download.freenas.org/latest/RELEASE/x64/jails as the collection URL.

Could this be changed to http://distcache.FreeBSD.org/ports-distfiles/ and then changed back?

depends on the port maintainer. Its usually easier to do your own installs if you require the latest versions IMHO.
