I'm troubleshooting some samba weirdness, and I want to:

- 'unjoin' the freenas from AD,
- make sure its name is removed from AD,
- manually kill any kerberos tickets associated with the AD connection,
- rename the host,
- rejoin it to the AD with the new hostname

Specifically I mean "Directory Services -> Active Directory" (not Services -> Domain Controller)

Currently running FreeNAS v11.1-U5

Prior to disabling the AD service, you can manually run the command net -k ads leave to remove your FreeNAS server's computer object. Once you've executed the command, you can stop the AD service from the UI (uncheck "enable") and click "OK", or from the command line (9.10 - 11.2) with /etc/directoryservice/ActiveDirectory/ctl stop.
