I just setup ISCSI in FreeNAS 8.3.1 with GlobalSAN 4.1 as an ISCSI initiator on the Mac over Gigabit Ethernet. I am currently transferring a 12.5GB file and I am not getting more than 40MB/s with 10MB/s average. The ISCSI share will also disconnect randomly when transferring. How can I speed it up and make it more reliable?
