High Performance SAS Disk System for BACKUPS. To slog or not to slog

Hi, I am building a Dell R740 with 24 Seagate Nytro SAS drives. Even in a 1 vdev z2 pool with 24 drives I get about 6000MBps continuous write speed using FIO. Better when using more vdevs. I'm almost maxing out the x8 pcie backplane. I will be doing only Veeam replicas on this storage so I believe its just synchronous writes.

Since these disks are so fast do I even need a slog device?
