Hello to all fellow FreeNAS users. Hopefully there are other Caribbean users here.

I have been using FreeNAS user for the last 4 years, mainly for Plex, data storage and a NVR. Somehow I got by with "not recommended" hardware without data loss.

But I have approved parts on the way and will post a history and 'build log' when all is acquired.

Welcome to the forum! I worked for several years with a fellow from Trinidad and Tobago. Great guy!

We'll try not to beat up on you too hard for using "unapproved" hardware; we're all sinners down here on this Earthly vale. Looking forward to seeing your build.
