Hello everybody.
You can call me Simon. Working as an junior sys-admin for about 6 months now! My first connection to FreeNAS was when our synology died after regular shutting down and booting again :D (had loong uptime, so maybe some capacitors died). After that I've created simple 2 FreeNAS nodes with nice replication (geographically separated). Now I'm struggling with LDAP and AD integration see https://www.truenas.com/community/threads/ldap-ad-enabled-at-same-time.89275/

Welcome top the forums. LDAP and AD should be a simple thing to master but in reality they are not. Good luck and hope you enjoy FreeNAS/TrueNAS.
