Just a quick note to say Hi. I built a FreeNAS box a couple of years ago from parts and bits that I had lying around. It worked beautifully until last week when the aging power supply threw in the towel. Since I use the NAS for backups and offline storage, reliability is rather important, so I've just put together a new box based on an ASUS Z270 board. Seems like a great time to check out FreeNAS 10, so that's what I'm doing today.
