Do you want to stop trying to install FreeNAS, or are you thinking in terms of some future need to have Windows available again?

Depending on your hardware, it is possible to run Windows in a VM on FreeNAS, so you could have both in that sense.

Installing FreeNAS happens on one specific drive that can't really have any other OS on it. Then any drives used by FreeNAS for data can only be used by an OS that handles ZFS (not really Windows).

If there are additional drives in the system, those can remain untouched by FreeNAS if you choose and Windows could exist there.

If your thinking is to entirely remove FreeNAS and go back to Windows, that should be fine. Windows can be installed on drives that have been formatted after FreeNAS used them.
