Yup, the capacitors are missing. It's best not to use it for hot-swapping.

Yep. I wonder why Lian-Li doesn't put the 10c of capacitors in :(

Anyway, without them, if you hot-plug a drive (ie when power is on) you run the risk of serious voltage droop across the other HDs and that will cause corruptions, or worse on the data to the drive.

Ie, powerdown before removing/adding drives.
