Newbie - Green Looking for guidance

I have TruenNAS running on a pc set up with 2 internal Hard Drives - both are 6 TB = total 12 TB
Being used to hold 4k and 1080p movies for a Plex

I would like to add more storage as I am running out of space

how do I do this ?
can I simply add in 1 larger drive like a 16TB drive to this setup ?
anyone that can assist please advise.
thank you.

Yes, you can do that. But your pool lacks redundancy. If any of the three drives fail, your pool is toast.
