After upgrading from 8.0.? to FreeNAS-8.2.0-RELEASE-p1-x64 my status had a yellow throbber, with this message:
"WARNING: The volume Vol1 (ZFS) status is UNKNOWN: One or more devices has experienced an error resulting in data corruption. Applications may be affected.Restore the file in question if possible. Otherwise restore the entire pool from backup."

I did a search and found this by mm7979, which seemed to show a fix:
http://forums.freenas.org/showthrea...4-to-8-2-Release&p=32062&viewfull=1#post32062

I ran # zpool status -v which gave me the path the five offending files. I deleted them (from windows GUI) and waited for a ZFS scrub to complete (run by changing schedule for GUI, not through console). This morning, after the scrub, I still have the yellow throbber. # zpool status -v now reports:

errors: Permanent errors have been detected in the following files:
vol1/Backup:<0x6a1e>
vol1/Backup:<0x2b2b>
vol1/Backup:<0x1b53>
vol1/Backup:<0x1b56>
vol1/Backup:<0xf67c>

The hex codes are where the full path used to be, before I deleted the files. I'm wondering if I failed to delete the files correctly. I'm running another scrub now from the console, any other suggestions appreciated.
