Help need Degraded Array

I could really use some help

I have inherited a Dell R530 with a SAS card iin it connected to a MD3060e power vault with 60x 6TB disks. Its running 12.0-U8.1 and currently showing 18 of the disks as degraded yet each disk has passed its most recent SMART test. These disks are only a year old and they are only alerting post the update a week ago

Am i really suffering a load of disk failures or am i missing something. Could really use some help/advice

It is probably related more to the controler / cabling than the drives themselves.

As requested by @NugentS, please post the complete hardware description.
