Interested in a server for the home, as a file storage and media server such as Emby or Plex. And of course the NextCloud cloud

Who can, please write who and what components are used and for what purpose (e.g. one or 2 disks in a raid for important data, one ssd for cache, one ssd for logs, etc.) I am new to this topic and do not I would like to assemble a server from anything.

I have a Corsair Air 540 case

Although there are some things to like about that case, it's a bit all over the place with where the disks need to go and not great for a consistent cooling outcome for all the disks.
