Since having extreme problems trying to install nas4free, (mountroot problems) I have quite easily installed freenas

is there any difference in features?

cannot see the bittorent?

Yes, there are some big differences in features between FreeNAS 7 / NAS4Free and FreeNAS 8.
Basically all features not included in the FreeNAS base system need to be provided by plugins. For information how to setup a plugin jail see the manual and the plugin section of this forum, and I think there is some torrent plugin available.
