Mike here from Shiner Tx. I have tinkered with Linux systems for the last 18 years, and still seem to be bewildered at times. I have had home servers the entire time, starting with RH6 with 2tb on a 3Ware 7800 series raid card. Now, setting up the latest replacement on an intel server board, and trying to salvage all the parts I can to setup a file/media/Web server for the home. The process is mostly for me to learn, but I really could put this thing to work, so I am intent on making it as good as I can with what I have. Cheers!
