Hi folks. I am new to 'NAS', but fortunately not new to Linux.

That being said, I find learning all the terms of 'datasets', shares, groups, LDAP, Active Directory, etc a bit daunting.

It has been good to review 'dd' commands, since I had wipe a drive outside of FreeNAS -- Full disclosure: I ended up using Linux Mint and the GUI wrapper "disks" to clean up the hard drive.

Any suggestions of reading (outside of the FreeNAS user guide) is welcome!

Aside from the manual, just keep reading the forums :D
