Hello FreeNas Forum!
My name is Craig and I'm the IT Manager at a small software development company.
I built our file server 2 years ago based on OpenSolaris for a SMB/NFS server for our organization. Opensolaris was a solid platform for ZFS, but was a pain to setup and development is dead.
I plan on moving this over to FreeNas soon and look forward to building in support for time machine backups over the network.
I have built a FreeNas sever at home out of an Intel Atom a few days ago for home SMB/NFS and am impressed so.
The administration interface is better than our EMC VNXe.
