Hi all,

I am pretty new to Truenas Scale (I have a raidz2 vdev working on motherboard SATA ports and I was hoping to add more disks with an HBA card in IT MODE) and completely new to HBA.

I just bought a LSI-9211-8i from Ali Express.

I plugged it in my system. The card seems to be recognized but not the disks.

Browsing forums I was able to check my system boot log and everything seems fine for the card but not a single HDD is showing up. (I don't see the HBA card bios at boot, don't know if it's normal or not)

Is there anything else I need to do for the 2 attached disks to show up ? Are there any commands to list the drive attached to the card ? (SAS2IRCU & SAS3IRCU LIST are giving me MPTLib2 Error 1)

Thanks in advance for your help.

Just forget about I tried again today switching the SAS to SATA cables and I just didn't push them strong enough into the HBA adapter.
SOLVED.
