Hi guys, Im a new user to Truenas, seems I had an account here from 2011 when I briefly used freenas. I hope I give all the correct info here.
All I want at this moment is to be able to install nextpvr as easily as possible, without VM and straight onto the NAS. I am using a Terramaster F4-423, I want to add a virtual tuner so not bothered about pci slots, I have a account that connects to this that I can record on. I then want to be able to record onto the NAS storage and be able to watch this via plex on the same machine.
Celeron N5105
upgraded Ram to Corsair Vengeance 32gb
OS installed onto Viathan VT 256gb NVMe SSD
then i have 3x 2TB Hitachi_HDS5C3020ALA632 in raid Z1
1x samsung 8TB ST8000AS0002-1NA17Z in stripe.
I have managed to install, get my SMB setup, I have managed to get the default catalogue downloaded and installed a couple of apps so far (not fully setup yet) but managed to download and install plex and Sabnzbd via catalogue https://github.com/truenas/charts.git this added after a bit of fighting as I had the wrong global networking settings. all good.
Now...... im trying to add a catalogue with nextpvr in it, and i get this error:
Failed to validate catalog: [EFAULT] Failed to clone 'https://github.com/truecharts/charts/tree/master/charts/stable' repository at '/var/run/middleware/ix-applications/validate_catalogs/github_com_truecharts_charts_tree_master_charts_stable_main' destination: [EFAULT] Failed to clone 'https://github.com/truecharts/charts/tree/master/charts/stable' repository at '/var/run/middleware/ix-applications/validate_catalogs/github_com_truecharts_charts_tree_master_charts_stable_main' destination: Cloning into '/var/run/middleware/ix-applications/validate_catalogs/github_com_truecharts_charts_tree_master_charts_stable_main'... fatal: repository 'https://github.com/truecharts/charts/tree/master/charts/stable/' not found
this is trying to import this link...... (hope this is allowed) https://github.com/truecharts/charts/tree/master/charts/stable
i have no idea what thay error means or how to fix it so any help is appreciated.
thanks and have a great new year.
Edit: I’m running the most recent version of Scale.
