Have rsync authentication?

I have Rsync working in Freenas and Deltacopy client rsync in windows, works like a charm but .... i'm surprised that there is no option to authenticate, now i make sure that only enter the computer i want through the option "Hosts permitted" where i put the ip of the computer but.....


How can i authenticate through login/pass the remote client ????

Are you using rsync over SSH mode? If so, SSH will authenticate.
