Hardware list for new build

My current hardware is getting old. M1015 is no longer supported by ESXi 7.0. I'm researching hardware for new build to last for 6 yrs.
Below is the shortlist.

Supermicro X11SCL-F
Intel® Xeon® E-2246G or Intel® Xeon® E-2226G or Xeom E2146G
LSI SAS 9300-8i
Hynix DDR-2666 2 x 16GB modules
WD Red 4 x 6TB

Any gotchas with 9300-8i? Ebay has listings for the HBA in IT mode.
