Version: FreeNAS-11.3-U1 64bit
CPU: AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 4122 (2200.05-MHz K8-class CPU) 8 cpu's
32 GB ECC memory
Avago Technologies (LSI) SAS2008 IT mode
Seagate Iron wolf 8tb x8 raid z2
I have 8 8TB seagate iron wolf drives running in a raid z2 pool. I installed the brand new drives about a month ago. Yesterday I saw that my pool was degraded and that drive da7 was in error. freenas reported it had 325 read errors and 25 write errors. I ran a long smart test on the single drive and it completed with no errors. I took the drive offline and put it back online and now it says the pool is healthy. Does anyone have any advice on further testing? Should I just RMA the drive?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
