I was reading an article on missingremote.com about Western Digital Red drives, and it got me wondering - how important is hard drive selection? Am I putting my data at unnecessary risk by using whatever drives were cheapest on Newegg when I bought them? Should I replace them all with these "NAS-optimized" drives?
