hai all. having a little trouble with plugins (Jail not pingable)

Hi all, I am very new to freenas freebsd and networking. I have had a simple plug in nas box for some time and decided that I have a old pc lying around i will put it to work, so I installed freenas. I am running the latest rc 32bit on a dedicated machine. I can access the webgui fine. I have follwed numerous tuts and have my volums all set up with seperate data sheets (jail and software) I have installed the jail plugin, but I get the yellow icon in the top right saying the jail ip is not pingable. My web url to access freenas is 192.168.0.3 with the jail i have changed it to 192.168.0.4/5/6/7/8/9 and so on to no avail. Am I missing something? I dont know what other information anyone would need to help me further but I am willing to try anything and will provide all that I can. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you kind people will be able to help me out. Regards Craig.

edit just changed the ip address to 192.168.0.47...I have a monitor hooked up and typed in 11 for shell and typed ping 192.168.0.47 it pinging it ( I believe ) but I still have the yellow icon saying ip unreachable

Yellow icon may take up to 5 minutes to change? Has it been fixed?

Hai yes and no, I rebooted the freenas once it was pinging to 192.168.0.47. i was able to install transmission and minidlna. I went into the config for transmission anything I changed and saved immideatly reverted back. I tried to log into 192.168.0.47:9091/ (transmission) and it requested a username and password. I have not set a username so I went into the settings again and set one. tried again to log into it but wrong password went back and forth and everytime the use password was unchecked even though I checked it and made a password. sorry if this sounds confusing but its confusing me lol. I appreciate you taking the time to reply to my query. Regards Craig.

As instalation only takes minutes I am going to start again and only change what is absolutly needed, and see if this works.

Hello, i had the same problem, thought i solved it, the light is green now, but i just can't switch on transmission.
I tried FreeNAS for the first time, i got my NFS and SAMBA shares running fine (NFS for XBMC) The mysql in freenas jail didn't work, so i don't use it.
Transmission never worked, but no, i can't even switch it on now.

this is on the bar beneath:
