H97I-PLUS Mobo Getting No configured interfaces were found error

I am using the 9.2.1.9 release on a USB stick. When I try to configure it manually I see no interfaces listed.

Do I need to install drivers somehow?

Nope. You need to use proper hardware, and that means NOT desktop hardware (which is what you have). I can tell because the H97 is a chipset, and that's not recommended hardware. You should read our guides and stickies *before* buying hardware. Now you're going to have to buy even more hardware or go with another OS.

Got it. Thanks for the tip. I meant to order the H87I version they have but ordered the newer one by mistake.

The H87I is not proper hardware for FreeNAS either. You need a server grade mobo combined with ECC RAM and a cpu which supports ECC RAM. you need to read the recommended hardware stickies.
